Why Use the Program?
The Youngevity® 5-Day
Cleansing Program™ was designed by health professionals to help cleanse and
detoxify the body.
Today, we encounter more toxins from pollution and chemical exposure than our
ancestors did. Our food supply is worsening due to extensive processing and our
over-utilized farm soils. The consumption of “fastfood” has sky-rocketed over
the past few decades as well.
Even the ocean and the air we breathe is more contaminated with
pollution than ever before. Healthy foods such as fresh fish and seafood
are more likely to be contaminated with toxins, such as heavy-metals and
harmful chemicals.
As a result, it is growing more and more important to cleanse and
detoxify our bodies! The Youngevity® 5-Day Cleansing Program™ is designed to promote optimal health and wellness. This program
should be used in conjunction with a supplement program that supplies the essential 90 nutrients on a regular basis to help ensure your body is getting all the necessary essential nutrients.
About Cleansing:
Colon cleansing is a program to help detoxify your body, by cleansing
toxins and impurities from the colon. By taking this important step, you
can rid yourself of harmful toxins and restore normal healthy bowel
function.
The main function of the bowel is to facilitate the absorption and
utilization of essential nutrients and to facilitate the elimination of
waste-matter from the body. When the colon and bowels do not function
properly due to poor elimination, harmful toxins and waste may build up
in the colon, which contributes to overall poor or impaired health
status. Cleansing supports and promotes optimal health and wellness and
supports a healthy digestive system and healthy skin and hair, as well
as healthy energy levels, blood sugar levels, and cardiovascular
function.
PREPARE...
It is recommended you consider cutting back on your normal food intake
for two to three days before starting this program. This is not
completely necessary, but is recommended to allow your body to prepare
for no solid food intake for the 5 fasting days. Increase your daily
intake of water! Start by drinking an 8-12 ounce glass first thing in
the morning every morning, and continue hydrating throughout the day.
STEP 1
Each evening
before bed, take 2 Cleanse fx™ capsules with a full 8 oz. glass of purified
water. The Cleanse fx™ product will be used in the evening to ensure sufficient bowel elimination the following day. Removing
toxins from the colon is an important part of the Cleansing Program. You will feel better and have more energy by moving toxins and waste out of the body more frequently and more quickly. Keep in mind that the Cleanse fx™ product is very active and some people respond with fewer capsules than others. It may be necessary to adjust the number of capsules used for routine results and the desired effect
and you may increase the number of Cleanse fx™ capsules as necessary, up to 4 capsules nightly.
STEP 2
Each morning, begin by taking 6 to 8 capsules of Ancient Legacy’s™ Colon
Plus™ with 6 to 8 ounces of organic apple juice. You will do this 3 to 5
times daily depending on your individual results.While fasting and
cleansing, do not consume large amounts of water at the time you are
taking the cleansing products. You still want to consume at least 6 to 8
glasses of purified water each day, but wait at least an hour after
taking the Colon Plus™ capsules. Each time you take the 6 to 8 capsules
of Colon Plus™, also take 2 D’Tox fx™ capsules. (Up to 10 per day while
on the Youngevity® 5-Day
Cleansing Program™).
HUNGRY?
You may
drink additional organic apple juice, or a healthy energy drink throughout the
day to help with hunger and boost energy. You should not eat solid food,
including vegetables, as you are trying to remove any residual contents from
your colon while completing this Cleansing Program. By eliminating solid food
during the program, the proprietary cleansing ingredients will better bind with
the impurities, toxins, and mucosal plaque and will subsequently help to remove
them from the body. You may also find consuming clear vegetable soup broth
helpful in warding off hunger pangs.
REINTRODUCE FOOD SLOWLY...
Once you have completed the Youngevity® 5-Day Cleansing Program™, it is
recommended you re-introduce solid foods slowly. Perhaps some fruit for
breakfast and a healthy salad for lunch, then begin adding proteins with your
evening meal. Now that you have completed the Cleansing Program, it is
recommended you stay away from those unhealthy foods
such as sodas, fast foods, and poorly or over-processed foods. It is also
important to begin re-introducing the 90
Essential Nutrients to replace and restore your nutrient balance.
WHAT TO EXPECT...
Most people do not have trouble with hunger after the first day or two.
Other things you may experience include headache or flu-like symptoms.
Some people experience a feeling of being tired or have low levels of
energy during the fast–this is where the healthy energy drinks and
organic apple juice will help. These are the most common effects of the
body releasing toxins or experiencing sugar “withdrawals,” and they
typically ease after the first few days. Once completed, many people
experience a boost in energy levels, a feeling of overall wellness and
clarity, and many even report healthy weight loss from the Youngevity®
5-Day Cleansing Program™.
